Solo pour la Flûte
Composed in 1903, and dedicated "A mon excellent Professeur et ami, Mr. E. RITTER" ("to my excellent professor and friend, Mr. E. Ritter"). The first page bears the following hand-written note in the top-right corner: "à Conserver précieusement" ("to [be] preserve[d] preciously"). Perhaps this piece was one of Lemire's favorites?
